Significant Modifications are as follows:

  • Coherently connected levels, Level 1 is closer camera (can appreciate details and single jump doesn't feel boring), Level 2 (as Double jump is acquired) is deep maze with multiple paths, some leading to exit, other to pickups such as potions, more coins etc.
  • Complete overhaul of the game, player sprite and animations, enemy sprite and animations, skins, music, backdrops, etc. 
    • Animations are created with conditions for idle, move and jump.
    • Multiple Images/backdrops/Icons were AI generated (stable diffusion) offline along with finishing touched in photoshop (remove background, change from square to different)
    • AI generated background music using AIVA, then used audacity to speed up.
  • Edited some scripts from tutorial and some New scripts:
    • EDITED
      • GameManager script: added skills Variable to keep track
      • UIManager script: Opens a page that shows skill obtained (openchest)
    • NEW
      • Teleport: Added a different way to end game, a new sprite with animation, controller etc.
      • ChestOpen: Opens chest on collision, adds skill name to GameManager and on the UI of the game, calls the page to display, decreases main music and plays a different music. 
  • Miscellaneous
    • Buttons have dagger when hovered.
    • Game win condition has changed to teleport sprite
